About Nikita Goluban

I am a multidisciplinary professional with experience in logistics, international business, and web development using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, as well as technologies such as React, Next.js, and Node.js.

I currently live in Germany and work at the Ferrero® factory in Stadtallendorf. Ferrero® is a leading confectionery company, and I work in the Rocher production department, operating machinery used to manufacture Ferrero Rocher® chocolates. Alongside my job, I continue to study and develop personal projects involving websites, mobile applications and possible software solutions for confectionery-production machinery. My interest in programming and the projects presented on this website are personal initiatives that I develop independently outside my employment.

I have a strong background in the international sale of technical equipment across Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. I have worked with well-known companies, selling plastic pipes, fittings, valves, woodworking tools such as saws and drills, and other industrial equipment. I also have extensive experience in transport and logistics, including managing French and Polish companies. I organised express road deliveries using small trucks, as well as freight transport using semi-trailers. I also arranged international sea and air freight for our clients. In Poland and France, I held international road transport licences covering both light and heavy vehicles. My experience includes customs clearance and cross-border trade involving Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Belarus, and Ukraine. My customers were located throughout Europe, including the European Union, Switzerland, and Russia. I worked with the Swedish Institute in Paris and the Swedish Institute in Stockholm for many years and organised transport between Sweden and France. I also provided weekly logistics services between Portugal and France. I operated a warehouse near Paris with truck access, where I consistently stored at least 200 pallets of goods for my customers. My transport businesses experienced financial difficulties after the COVID-19 pandemic. The economic effects of the war in Ukraine and sanctions affecting trade with Russia created additional challenges. My French companies have since been closed. Nikita Transports Sp. z o.o. in Poland still legally exists but is currently inactive and no longer operates as a transport company.

I have lived in Russia, Poland, France and Germany. I speak English, French, Polish and Russian, and I also use German in my daily life and at work. I continue to improve my German language skills.

I now live in Germany and work at the Ferrero® factory. Alongside my employment, I continue studying programming and developing personal projects involving web development, logistics and possible software solutions for confectionery-production machinery. This website presents my professional experience, personal projects and developing technical skills.

Project update: drewno.online

drewno.online is my first commercial freelance project and an ongoing, long-term collaboration. I built the platform from scratch and remain responsible for its development, administration, digital marketing strategy, SEO and Google indexing.

It is now a working timber platform with customer accounts, NIP company verification, protected prices, delivery tools, inventory management and a searchable Knowledge Base with more than 100 materials.

My Current Career Situation and Future Career Plan

I am currently working in production at Ferrero. The job is physically demanding, but the physical aspect of the work is not a problem for me. The main issue is that I don’t use many of my professional skills and previous experience in my current position.

At the same time, my job has some important advantages. It is stable and well paid, and I have a permanent contract. These factors are especially important to me because I have a wife and a child in Germany.

Career Development at Ferrero

At the moment, I don’t see a clear path to a higher position within Ferrero. Many positions in Germany outside production, especially in areas such as sales, marketing, IT, and administration, require a high level of German.

These positions are also attractive and competitive, with many people applying for them. With my German currently at around A2 level, my opportunities are therefore limited.

My German

I have been living in Germany since April 2024, but my German is still around A2 level.

One of the reasons is that I don’t use German very much at work. Many of my colleagues speak Polish, Russian, or English, so I can communicate at work without using German regularly.

I am also studying IT and programming in my free time. Between my full-time job, my family, and my IT studies, I don’t have enough time to focus intensively on German at the moment.

Family and Financial Stability

Having a wife and a child has a major influence on how I think about changing jobs. I cannot take unnecessary risks with my family’s financial security.

Therefore, I don’t want to leave a stable and well-paid job simply because another position seems more interesting.

If I change jobs, the new opportunity should offer a high level of long-term stability, reliable income, good working conditions, and clear career prospects. Ideally, it should also make better use of my existing skills and experience.

My IT Development

For now, I want to continue learning programming while working at Ferrero. Once my skills are strong enough, I would like to start taking smaller freelance projects alongside my regular job.

This would allow me to gain real professional IT experience without immediately giving up the security of my current employment.

I don’t necessarily need to become a full-time freelancer. Freelancing can initially be a way to build experience, a portfolio, professional contacts, and an additional source of income.

When Would I Change Jobs?

I would seriously consider changing my main job if I found a position that:

  • makes better use of my skills and previous professional experience;
  • offers good long-term career prospects;
  • provides a high level of employment stability;
  • offers at least comparable overall financial conditions;
  • gives me opportunities to develop professionally;
  • is worth the additional risk of leaving my current permanent position.

The new job does not necessarily have to be purely in IT. It could also combine my previous experience in international sales, export, logistics, and management with my growing knowledge of technology and programming.

My Strategy

For now, my strategy is not simply to leave Ferrero.

My strategy is to keep my stable job, continue developing my IT skills, gradually gain practical experience through freelance projects, improve my German over time, and remain open to better professional opportunities.

If I find a secure position that clearly improves my long-term career situation, I can change jobs. If I don’t find such an opportunity, I can continue working at Ferrero while developing programming as a second professional path.

This allows me to develop my career without putting my family’s financial security at unnecessary risk.

Why work with me

I bring more than 15 years of hands-on experience in international business, transport, logistics, and export sales to every project.

  • Entrepreneurial experience: I founded and managed transport companies in France and Poland, so I understand the responsibilities, risks, and priorities of running a business.
  • Practical problem-solving: I have managed international deliveries, warehouses, vehicles, employees, contracts, customs requirements, and time-sensitive operations.
  • Customer and commercial focus: My background in export sales and client development helps me look beyond technical requirements and focus on the value a solution should create.
  • International communication: Having lived and worked in several European countries, I can communicate professionally in English, French, Polish, and Russian and work effectively across cultures.
  • Technical understanding: My experience covers web development, digital analytics, industrial products, machinery, and production, allowing me to understand both digital and operational challenges.
  • Ownership and adaptability: I am used to learning quickly, taking responsibility, and carrying projects from an initial idea through to a practical result.

Today, I combine this commercial and operational background with coding skills. My goal is to create clear, useful solutions.

More than a website: an AI-integrated tool

I built this first version with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The website is also part of a wider project on my own server, connecting everyday work tools with AI and voice control.

  • Built with the fundamentals: I write the frontend in HTML, CSS, and plain JavaScript, without a frontend framework. This project gives me hands-on experience in building and improving a complete website.
  • AI-connected work tools: My server brings together email, a calendar, and tasks connected to AI. I can manage these tools using my voice, ask AI to help plan and schedule emails, and automate routine work.
  • A CV you can keep: Alongside the online version, my CV is available as a PDF for downloading, printing, and sharing.
  • Version two: I plan to release the next version in about a month, with translations into nine languages and technical preparation for indexing by Google, Bing, the Chinese search engine Baidu, and the Russian search engine Yandex.

This is a working project that I continue to develop, bringing together my business experience and coding skills to build tools I can use every day.
